What does CyberAccord Shield cover?
CyberAccord Shield is our managed protection bundle for small and mid-sized organizations. It replaces three separate tools and vendors with one service and one team that is accountable when something slips through.
You can start with device protection and add email and cloud app coverage when you are ready. Every layer is deployed, tuned, and watched by our team rather than left on default settings.
- Device protection for laptops and desktops
- Email security for Microsoft 365 and Gmail
- Cloud app security for SharePoint, OneDrive, and Google Drive
Managed Microsoft 365 security
Microsoft 365 includes strong security features, but many are off by default or need careful tuning, and someone has to act on what they find. We configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (formerly Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection), Microsoft Purview data loss prevention, and identity and access controls, then keep them current as your organization and the threats change.
- Block phishing, spam, malware, ransomware, and malicious links in email and Microsoft 365 apps
- Detect and remediate compromised accounts
- Prevent unauthorized access and restrict risky third-party app connections
- Write custom data loss prevention policies that stop sensitive data leaving by accident or on purpose
- Set up retention, archiving, and supervision so compliance reviews are simpler
- Plan backup, recovery, and encryption for critical business data
- Run phishing simulations and security awareness training for your staff
Managed AWS security monitoring and incident response
Under the AWS shared responsibility model, AWS secures the underlying cloud and you are responsible for what you build on it. Many teams turn on AWS security services but have no one to sort real threats from noise. Our AWS-certified engineers configure those services, monitor the findings, and respond when a threat is confirmed.
We can extend the same monitoring and incident response to Microsoft Azure workloads.
- Configure and manage services such as Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Config
- Continuous threat monitoring and alert triage
- Incident response: containment, investigation, and remediation guidance
- Periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration tests of your workloads
- Security planning and best-practice guidance for your AWS accounts
Who is managed security for?
It fits organizations that do not have a dedicated security team, including those whose general IT is outsourced. We work alongside your IT provider: they keep systems running, and we focus on detecting and stopping attacks.
It also fits teams facing a cyber insurance application, a customer security review, or an audit that asks how endpoints, email, and cloud data are protected and who is watching them.
